Wichita, KANSAS – Wichita Police Department officials said the shooting occurred around 4:09 p.m. Friday afternoon.
It happened on S Meridian.
Wichita Police Department officers responded to a shooting call.
When the officers arrived on scene, they found one victim.
Police said the victim suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
The victim’s age or identity have not yet been released.
Investigators believe the victim was shot following an argument.
One person is in custody, police officials said.
