WPD is investigating a shooting at a home in the 2600 block of North Madison

KANSAS – According to the report, when the officers arrived on scene, they contacted a 23-year-old man who had been shot.

The man was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The subsequent investigation revealed the victim met with people he knew at the home.

When he arrived, a suspect shot him with a handgun and fled the scene. The incident was not random, and an investigation is ongoing.
