Wichita, KANSAS – Wichita Police Department officials said the shooting occurred around 9:09 a.m. Thursday.
It happened on North Spruce.
Wichita Police Department officers responded to a shooting call.
When the officers arrived on scene, they found one adult male victim.
Police said the 65-year-old victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
Investigators believe the suspect and the victim knew each other.
A disturbance occurred between the victim and a known suspect when the suspect fired a shot at the victim and struck him, WPD officials said.
