Wichita, KANSAS – According to the Wichita Police Department, this unfortunate incident occurred right after 10 p.m. Tuesday.
It happened in the 100 block of North Glenn.
When the officers arrived on scene, they found the 67-year-old victim suffering from severe stab injuries.
His name is Kurt Petersen and he was pronounced dead on the scene.
The 60-year-old suspect, James Shaw, was arrested.
Police say the suspect and the victim knew each other.
This incident remains under investigation.
