Wichita, KANSAS – According to the Wichita Police Department, this unfortunate incident occurred around 6:45 p.m. Friday.
It happened at Oliver and Orme.
Wichita Police Department officers responded to a report of a crash.
The responding officers discovered that the victim was attempting to cross the street when she was struck by a vehicle that was traveling southbound.
The woman suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
No one else was injured in this incident.
This incident remains under investigation.
