Wichita, KANSAS – According to the Wichita Police Department, the shooting occurred right after 8 p.m. Tuesday.
It happened at the intersection of Lincoln and Emporia.
Wichita Police Department officers responded to a shooting call.
When the officers arrived on scene, they found one male victim suffering from a gunshot wound.
Police say the victim suffered serious injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
Authorities believe the shooting happened at a home near the intersection.
