Two vehicle crash on US-75 highway critically injures one, leaves three others with minor injuries

Topeka, KANSAS – Kansas Highway Patrol officials said this unfortunate accident occurred right after 3 p.m. Sunday.

It happened on US-75 highway.

Kansas Highway Patrol troopers responded to a report of a crash.

The responding troopers discovered that Jeep Compass and Acura MDX crashed at the location.

Both vehicles were southbound on US-75 in the left lane at the time of the collision.

The 55-year-old driver of the Acura MDX reportedly slowed down to make a U-turn in the median when it was rear-ended by the Jeep Compass.

The driver of the Acura MDX suffered serious injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment.

He was later identified as Timothy Felitsky.

The 85-year-old passenger in the Acura MDX suffered minor injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment.

She was later identified as Mary Felitsky.

Both the driver and the passenger in the Jeep Compass, both 18, suffered minor injuries, KHP troopers said.

They were later identified as Collin Creach and Olivia Morton.

This incident remains under investigation.
