Two-vehicle crash on US-73 sends 58-year-old driver to hospital with serious injuries

Brown County, KANSAS – Kansas Highway Patrol officials said the accident occurred right before 8 a.m. Saturday morning.

It happened on US-73 highway.

Kansas Highway Patrol troopers responded to a report of a crash.

The responding troopers discovered that the 58-year-old driver of Buick LeSabre rear-ended farm tractor.

The driver of the vehicle suffered serious injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment.

She was later identified as Charlotte VanDiver.

The 55-year-old driver of the tractor was not injured, troopers said.

He was later identified as Timothy Lehew.

No other injuries were reported.
