Two-vehicle crash on US-69 highway leaves 49-year-old man with serious injuries

Crawford County, KANSAS – Kansas Highway Patrol officials said the accident occurred right after 10 a.m. Tuesday morning.

It happened on US-69 highway.

Kansas Highway Patrol troopers responded to a report of a crash.

The responding troopers discovered that Chevrolet Express was driving northbound when the driver lost control, crossed the center line and sideswiped Ford F-750 truck.

The 49-year-old driver of the Chevrolet Express suffered serious injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment.

He was later identified as James Anderson.

The 54-year-old driver of the Ford F-750 was not injured.

He was later identified as James Smith.

This incident remains under investigation.
