Saline County, KANSAS – Kansas Highway Patrol officials said the accident occurred right before 3 p.m. Tuesday.
It happened at the intersection of Ohio St and Nottingham St.
Kansas Highway Patrol troopers responded to a report of a two-vehicle crash.
The responding troopers discovered that the 17-year-old driver of Chevrolet Impala was driving northbound on Ohio Street when the driver pulled to the right and stopped as an emergency vehicle approached.
The 44-year-old driver of Lincoln failed to stop and rear-ended the Chevrolet Impala.
The 17-year-old driver of the Chevrolet Impala was not injured, troopers said.
He was later identified as Michael Hauser.
The 44-year-old driver of the Lincoln Mark suffered minor injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
She was later identified as Lisa Good.
