Mission, KANSAS – According to the police officials, this unfortunate incident occurred around 3:45 a.m. Saturday.
It happened south of Lamar Avenue in Mission.
A 23-year-old man was driving a pickup truck south in the north-bound lanes of I-35, when he hit another pickup truck head-on.
His name is Sam Wilson and he died at the scene.
The other driver was taken to the local hospital.
His name is Robert Mangelsdorf, Jr. and he later died at the hospital.
