Two arrested on drug charges following S. Seneca traffic stop

Sedgwick County, KANSAS – Police officials said both suspects were arrested and taken into custody on Wednesday.

Donnell James, 23, and Qortevias Patterson, 29, were arrested following S. Seneca traffic stop.

Both suspects are now charged with possession of narcotics with intent to distribute.

Right after 3 p.m. Wednesday afternoon, Wichita Police Department initiated a traffic stop on the suspects vehicle for a traffic violation.

During the traffic stop, the responding officers reportedly found drugs, a handgun and a large amount of cash.

This incident remains under investigation.
