Two arrested for possession of meth after traffic stop in Shawnee County

Shawnee County, KANSAS – According to the Shawnee County Sheriff’s Office, both suspects were arrested and taken into custody on Saturday.

Right after 2 a.m., SCSO K9 Unit conducted a traffic stop on Ford F150 pickup truck near NW US 24 Highway and NW Topeka Boulevard for making an improper turn.

During the traffic stop, drugs were located.

Shawnee County Sheriff’s Office said that 37-year-old Donald Martin and 39-year-old Kenneth Martin (39) were taken into custody.

Both suspects were booked into the Shawnee County Department of Corrections and charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
