Cheyenne County, KANSAS – According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, this unfortunate accident occurred right after 7 p.m. Thursday.
It happened on K-161 highway.
Kansas Highway Patrol troopers responded to a report of a crash.
The responding troopers discovered that the 77-year-old woman was traveling south on K-161 highway when her vehicle left the road and overturning twice.
The 77-year-old woman suffered life-threatening injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
She was later identified as Barbara Herrington.
Herrington was the single occupant of the vehicle and she was reportedly wearing a seat belt.
This incident remains under investigation.
