Topeka, KANSAS – According to the Topeka Police Department, at about 6:15 p.m. Tuesday, officers responded to a welfare check in the 900 block of northeast Madison Street.
When the officers arrived on scene, they found an unresponsive person.
Police say the person was later pronounced dead.
This incident remains under investigation.
