The Shawnee Mission School District will open a school-based health clinic Thursday at Shawnee Mission West High School

KANSAS – According to the statement, the clinic is for students and their siblings between 3 and 20 years old.

Officials say the new clinic will be called the Health Partnership Clinic and it will be open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Thursday when school is in session.

Students and their siblings will have access to “primary and preventative health care, chronic disease management, mental health services and dental care.

According to the statement, the clinic also will offer COVID-19 vaccines for eligible pediatric patients.

The clinic’s services are available in person and virtually and will be located across from the nurse’s office at the high school.
