Riley County, KANSAS – According to the statement, the Law Board will post the job announcement and begin accepting applications on Tuesday, May 24, 2022.
Officials have announced that the screening of applications will immediately follow the posting of the job and continue until the position is filled.
NOTE: applications to include a letter of interest, a comprehensive resume, and professional references can be submitted to the Law Board Selection Committee at PO BOX # 986, Manhattan, KS 66505-0986.
RCPD Chair Linda Morse released the following statement:
“Experiences throughout our country in the last several years demonstrate the importance of carefully selecting the best person to lead the Riley County Police Department. It is not only our goal but our obligation to hire a person who is respected and trusted by all the citizens who live, work and go to school in Riley County and the City of Manhattan.”
