KANSAS – According to the health officials, the deaths of the five residents were reported on Monday.
The health officials have reported that four of these people were not vaccinated for COVID-19.
The fifth person was vaccinated.
64 Leavenworth County residents have died from COVID-19 since the pandemic began.
The health officials have reported 193 new COVID-19 cases.
Of these, 170 involved people who have not been vaccinated for COVID-19.
There have been 8,057 COVID-19 cases in Leavenworth County since the pandemic began.
270 residents have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 since pandemic began.
