Lawrence, KS – Governor Kelly announced that the Kansas Department of Labor is upgrading its server capacity and adding additional hours and staff at the contact center.
Governor Kelly says she’s committed to helping get Kansans the financial assistance they deserve.
500 customer service agents are expected to be fully trained and ready to assist people on the phones starting later this month.
Additional training for certain staff members is also being provided, hoping to offer more support to people with complex unemployment insurance benefit claims.
