Osage County, KANSAS – Kansas Highway Patrol officials said the accident occurred around 12:17 p.m. Wednesday.
It happened on Interstate 335.
Kansas Highway Patrol troopers responded to a report of a crash.
The responding troopers discovered that the 47-year-old driver of Chevrolet G1500 lost control of the vehicle, which went off the roadway and struck a tree.
The 47-year-old man suffered injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
He was later identified as Bryan Bennett.
