Saline County, KANSAS – Kansas Highway Patrol officials said the fatal accident occurred right before 8 a.m. Thursday morning.

It happened on Interstate 70.

The responding troopers found one adult female victim.

Police said the 42-year-old female driver suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment, where she later died.
