Merriam, KANSAS – Merriam Police Department officials said the shooting occurred around 5:09 a.m. early Sunday morning.
It happened on W. 52nd St.
Merriam Police Department officers responded to a shooting call.
When the officers arrived on scene, they found one adult male victim.
Police said the 26-year-old victim suffered life-threatening injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
His identity has not yet been released.
No suspects have been arrested yet.
