SCSO arrests 2 suspects in connection with SW Pointe Drive burglaries

Shawnee County, KANSAS – According to the Shawnee County Sheriff’s Office, both suspects were arrested and taken into custody on Tuesday. 

Both suspects, later identified as 25-year-old Aaron Griffith and 27-year-old Halie Clinton, were arrested in connection with SW Pointe Drive burglaries.

On June 2, multiple thefts from motor vehicles and a theft of a motor vehicle occurred at residences in the 6000 block of SW Pointe Drive, deputies said.

According to the SCSO, thousands of dollars’ worth of items including a 2014 Lincoln MKX SUV, cash, personal items, financial cards and more were stolen.

Griffith is now charged with conspiracy, identity theft, burglary to a vehicle, theft, criminal damage and criminal use of a financial charge.

Clinton will be facing charges of conspiracy to commit burglary by the Sheriff’s Office.
