Lawrence, KANSAS – According to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, this unfortunate accident occurred right before 3 p.m. Wednesday.
It happened on E 1600 Rd.
Douglas County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a crash.
Concrete truck left the roadway, overcorrected and rolled onto the driver’s side.
Deputies say the 41-year-old driver suffered injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
The road was closed to all traffic, but reopened just after 6 p.m.
