Maize, KANSAS – According to the Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office, this unfortunate accident occurred Tuesday afternoon.
Ot happened at 53rd St. N. & 135th St. W.
Sedgwick County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a crash.
Authorities say pickup truck and train collided at the location.
The responding deputies found 3 victims.
One of the victims was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two juvenile passengers suffered serious injuries and were taken to a hospital for treatment.
According to the Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office, the railroad crossing had no arms or lights and the female driver did not see the train.
