One person dead, three injured following single-vehicle crash on I-135

McPherson County, KANSAS – According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, this unfortunate accident occurred right before 4 p.m. Saturday.

It happened on I-135.

Kansas Highway Patrol troopers responded to a report of a crash.

The responding troopers discovered that GMC Suburban was driving on the inside lane when the driver lost control.

The vehicle then left the roadway and went into the ditch.

Troopers said the GMC Suburban then overturned and landed on its wheels.

The 36-year-old driver, Jimmie Hall, suffered minor injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment.

The 62-year-old passenger suffered life-threatening injuries and was pronounced dead.

She was later identified as Mary Hall.

Two other passengers suffered minor injuries, troopers said.

This incident remains under investigation.
