Lawrence, KANSAS – According to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, this unfortunate accident occurred right after 3 a.m. early Monday morning.
It happened at the 23rd Street exit ramp of westbound K-10 highway.
Douglas County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a single-vehicle crash.
The responding deputies found one victim.
They say the victim was the single occupant of the vehicle that crashed.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
