One man is facing assault and multiple gun charges after holding a person at gunpoint

KANSAS – According to the police officials, this unfortunate incident occurred around 10:15 p.m. Saturday.

It happened in the 3700 block of SW Park South Court in Topeka.

Topeka Police Department officers responded to a shooting call.

When the officers arrived on scene, the victim said that someone pointed a gun at him and then fired a shot into the air.

Topeka Police Department officers located the suspect, Charles Lamb, Jr., and he was arrested.

The 45-year-old man is facing on the charges of Aggravated Assault, Criminal Discharge of a Firearm and Possession of Stolen Firearm.
