KANSAS – According to the police officials, a driver hit a bicyclist and shot him near 13th and Oliver. The bicyclist died at the hospital.
Kansas Senator Oletha Faust-Goudeau witnessed the crash and shooting.
The senator just got back home from Topeka and was one of the first on the scene.
Faust-Goudeau says the man on the bike clearly had the right of way.
Witnesses followed the suspect and led them to arrest the woman.
The victim’s name and a motive have not been released.
