One dead, two injured after two vehicle crash near 295th Street West and 21st Street North

Sedgwick County, KANSAS – According to the Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office, this unfortunate accident occurred around 9:10 a.m. Friday.

It happened near 295th Street West and 21st Street North.

Sedgwick County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a crash.

The responding deputies discovered that Toyota Camry heading north on 295th Street West ran a stop sign crossing 21st Street North.

The vehicle was then hit by Ford Focus.

The 36-year-old driver of the Toyota Camry was pronounced dead at the scene.

The 38-year-old passenger in the Toyota Camry suffered serious injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment.

The 19-year-old driver of the Ford Focus suffered minor injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment.

The incident remains under investigation.
