Johnson County, KANSAS – According to the Olathe Police Department, this unfortunate accident occurred right before 5 a.m. Friday.
It happened at the intersection of Old 56 Highway and South Chestnut Street.
Olathe Police Department officers responded to a report of a crash.
They say a semi-truck struck a pedestrian at the intersection.
The responding officers found one female victim.
Police say the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the semi-truck was not injured.
