KANSAS – Newton Police Department officer saw a vehicle driving erratically in the 2000 block of West 1st Street and tried to stop the vehicle.
The teen driver immediately reported that he had just been involved in a fight and had stabbed someone.
A bloody knife was found in the car.
Police located the victim in the 100 block of Evans Avenue. The 27-year-old man was taken to a Wichita hospital where he later died.
The teen was arrested. This story will be updated when new information is available.
