LAWRENCE, Kan. – Officials at the University of Kansas is reporting nearly 500 cases of COVID-19.
The university’s website says as of 10 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 27, there were 474 positive cases from 21,719 test results. The university reports a positivity rate of 2.18%.
The Greek life community has 270 positive cases, over half of KU’s positive cases, from 2,698 tests with a positivity rate of 10.01%.
The Lawrence-Douglas County Public Health issued quarantine orders for residents of multiple sorority and fraternity houses.
