Manhattan, KANSAS – According to the Riley County Police Department, the crash occurred around 8:31 p.m. Tuesday night.
It happened in the 1700 block of Vaughn Dr.
Riley County Police Department officers responded to a report of a crash.
The responding officers discovered that the 42-year-old motorcyclist reportedly lost control of his Honda motorcycle and was thrown forward off the motorcycle.
The victim, later identified as Jimmy Humbert, suffered serious injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
