In a terrifying moment, a mother found herself and her baby cornered by two robbers who audaciously entered the driveway of her home as its electronic gates were closing. The unidentified woman was waiting for the gates of her mansion to close when the two suspects strolled in and robbed her in broad daylight. The footage of the robbery was shared on Facebook by the police department on Wednesday.
According reports, the shocking incident unfolded on Sunday, November 28, 2021, at around 5:10 p.m. when the woman returned home following a walk. The footage of the robbery was shared on Facebook by the police department on Wednesday.
It shows the alarmed woman standing in the driveway with her infant in a stroller as the two men walk past her home before turning around and entering the private property moments before the gate is fully closed. Next, we see the duo backing the mother against the wall of her property, taking her diaper bag off her back, and grabbing a cooler present inside the stroller.
They flee the scene immediately after in a car that had been parked outside the home. “Fearing for her and her child’s safety, the victim complied and allowed suspect-1 to take her diaper bags and bottle cooler,” wrote the police department of the horrific incident.
The two suspects proceed to run into a waiting vehicle that was parked across the street from the victim’s home and flee northbound from the location. The suspects seemed to be driving a silver sedan that had tinted windows. It appears to be a crime of opportunity, as the thieves seemed to go into the house after spotting the woman in a vulnerable position, all by herself. Authorities are now urging the public to come forward with any information that would help them find the perpetrators.
“Suspect-1 is described as a male, Black, 20-29 years of age. Suspect-1 was wearing a light color mask, black hoodie, red sweat pants (with white writing/logo), and white shoes. Suspect-2 was described as a male, Black, 20-29 years of age. Suspect-2 was wearing a black face mask, gray hoodie, black sweat pants, and black shoes,” read the detailed description of the robbers that the police are looking for.
