Topeka, KANSAS – Right after 9 a.m. Monday, Topeka Fire Department crews responded to a report of a residential structure fire.
This incident occurred on S.W. 5th.
The responding crews saw smoke coming from the apartment.
They were able to quickly extinguish the blaze.
No one was injured in this incident, officials said.
The fire caused about $1,000 dollars worth of damage to the building.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
