Man injured in Wichita shooting Wednesday afternoon, police say

Wichita, KANSAS – According to the Wichita Police Department, the shooting occurred around 3:45 p.m. Wednesday.

It happened in the 2400 block of East Shadybrook.

Wichita Police Department officers responded to a shooting call.

The responding officers found one adult male victim.

Police said the 27-year-old victim suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was taken to a hospital for treatment.

The extent of his injuries is unknown at this time.
