Topeka, KANSAS – Police officials said the 53-year-old suspect was taken into custody on Sunday.
His name is Brian Eshom and he is now facing multiple charges, including: aggravated assault of law enforcement officer; battery on a law enforcement officer; operate a vehicle without registration or tag; interference with law enforcement officer; theft $25,000, motor vehicle; flee or attempt to elude and criminal damage to property.
This incident occurred on Western.
The responding officers reportedly saw two vehicles that appeared to be disabled.
The 53-year-old suspect attempted to run.
When the responding officers stopped him, he reportedly began to fight with officers and hit them.
The 53-year-old suspect was booked into the Shawnee County Department of Corrections.
