Lawrence, KS – According to the statement, this unfortunate incident occurred around 7:10 p.m. Thursday.
Witness called 911 and said a woman in her vehicle had been shot near the intersection of North Seventh Street and North Street.
The woman suffered injuries that weren’t life-threatening.
The man who was driving the vehicle transported her to LMH Health.
According to the police officials, one or more people in another vehicle fired numerous gunshots at the vehicle the woman was in.
The suspect’s vehicle, which was described as a gray or silver sedan, fled the area after the shooting.
