Topeka, KS – According to the police officials, his name is Stephen L. Pittman and he is in custody.
The 44-year-old man faces aggravated assault and aggravated endangering of a child charges.
This unfortunate incident occurred in the 2300 block of NE 82nd St. around 4:45 p.m.
Officers responded to a shooting call. The caller said that he and a teenager were threatened with a gun by a man they knew.
Pittman was arrested and booked into the Shawnee Co. Dept. of Corrections for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and aggravated endangering a child.
This incident is under investigation.
