KANSAS – According to the police officials, officers responded to a call for a possible theft at the 8100 block of SW Topeka Boulevard.
When the officers arrived on scene, they discovered a large hole cut into the fence and a damaged gate at the entrance of the property.
It was discovered that multiple items were stolen, including industrial sized batteries, and multiple items were damaged with a total value over $28,000.
Deputies gathered valuable information and responded to a residence in the 200 block of SE Pinecrest Drive and located the remaining stolen batteries as well as two suspects.
Jarrod M. Ryan and Amy L. Kibbee were arrested and booked into the Shawnee County Department of Corrections on charges of aggravated criminal damage to property, theft, conspiracy and criminal trespass. Ryan was also charged with several drug related charges.
