Law enforcement authorities are investigating a drug deal shooting and have made an arrest.

Shawnee Co., KANSAS – According to the statement, officers responded to a shooting call around 10:50 a.m. Monday in the 2500 Block of SE Minnesota in Topeka.

When they arrived on scene, they found a victim suffering from a gunshot wound.

They arrested Irving Arambula and transported him to the Law Enforcement Center.

The victim was transported to the local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police found cocaine at the location where the shooting took place.

The 30-year-old man is being held in the Shawnee County Department of Corrections on requested charges of Aggravated Battery, Possession of Cocaine with the intent of distribution, Possession of drug paraphernalia with the intent of distribution and Use of communication facility in commission of a felony drug violation.
