Shawnee County, KANSAS – According to the police officials, this unfortunate incident occurred around 3:45 a.m. Thursday.
It happened at the Ed Bozarth auto dealership, 3731 SW Topeka Blvd.
Officers responded to a report of someone burglarizing multiple vehicles on the property.
When the officers arrived on scene, they located the man matching the description of the suspect.
His name is David A. Thomas and he was arrested.
The 39-year-old man was booked into the Shawnee County Department of Corrections on requested charges of Burglary, Theft < $1,500 Motor Vehicle and interference with law enforcement.
