KHP: Two-vehicle crash on N.W. Frontage Road leaves one with minor injuries

Topeka, KANSAS – According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, this unfortunate accident occurred right after 3 p.m. Thursday.

It happened at 3001 N.W. Frontage Road. 

Kansas Highway Patrol troopers responded to a report of a crash.

The responding troopers discovered that Ford Focus left the roadway and went across the ditch where it struck Toyota Sienna that was westbound on Frontage Road.

The 17-year-old driver of the Focus suffered injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment.

She was later identified as Yanelia Antonia Pagan.

The 9-month-old passenger in the Focus was not injured, troopers said.

The driver of the Toyota and the other 6 passengers were not injured.

This incident remains under investigation.
