Dickinson County, KANSAS – According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, this unfortunate accident occurred right after 12 p.m. Friday.
It happened on US 56 in Herington.
Kansas Highway Patrol troopers responded to a report of a crash.
Honda Accord was traveling southbound on US 56.
The driver, Javier Jose Fuentes, crossed the center line and started going off the highway.
The Honda then went back into the northbound lanes and hit a semi truck.
Unfortunately, Fuentes was pronounced dead at the scene.
This accident is under investigation.
