Lawrence, KANSAS – According to the Kansas Department of Corrections, his name is Elvin Morris and they say he failed to report back to the KDOC Work Release Facility on October 2, 2021.
Officials say that the inmate has been placed on escape status.

The Kansas Department of Corrections says that he is a 5’10” black male with a slender build.
Morris was last seen wearing a dark black sweatshirt and dark pants.
