Kansas is moving to Phases 3 and 4 of its COVID-19 Vaccination Plan on March 22

Lawrence, KS – According to the officials, these phases include people between the ages of 16 and 64 years old with underlying health conditions and other critical workers.

The medical conditions range from asthma and Down Syndrome to Heart conditions and cancer. State Health Secretary Dr. Lee Norman explained the decision to combine the phases during Tuesday’s media briefing with the University of Kansas Health System.

The County Health Departments are scheduling appointments for next week, opening up access to thousands more people with Phase 2 still underway in larger counties.

Providers may ask for proof of residency or employment but proof of medical conditions will not be required.
