Kansas Highway Patrol trooper faces charges after domestic disturbance Wednesday morning

Topeka, KANSAS – According to the Topeka Police Department, his name is Dray Carlton and he was booked into the Shawnee Co. Dept. of Corrections for Domestic battery and Criminal restraint.

This unfortunate incident occurred around 7:50 a.m. Wednesday.

It happened in the 900 block of SW Woodbridge Place.

Topeka Police Department officers responded to that location following a domestic disturbance call.

The responding officers found one female victim. 

Police said the victim suffered non-life threatening injuries.

The 32-year-old trooper was off duty at the time.
