Kansas Department of Health and Environment will open five new COVID testing sites in order to avoid weather-related shutdowns

Lawrence, KANSAS – According to the announcement, the KDHE will also be shutting down locations in Topeka, Lawrence and Manhattan.

The Kansas Department of Health and Environment will open 4 new testing sites:

  • Finney County Fairgrounds in Garden City – Hours: Monday – Saturday, 7 a.m. – 6 p.m.
  • Clint Bowyer Community Center in Emporia – Hours: Monday – Saturday, 7 a.m. – 6 p.m.
  • Southwest Publishing in Topeka – Hours: Monday – Friday 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  • Anderson Ave & Seth Child Road in Manhattan – Hours: Monday – Friday 7 a.m. – 6 p.m.
  • Former Payless in Lawrence – Hours: Monday – Friday 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

The Kansas Department of Health and Environment will close 3 testing sites:

  • Walmart California Avenue in Topeka
  • Manhattan Town Center in Manhattan
  • Walmart Iowa Street in Lawrence
