Hoisington, KANSAS – According to the Hoisington Police Department, the shooting occurred around 3:15 a.m. early Wednesday morning.
Hoisington Police Department officers responded to a shooting call.
When the officers arrived on scene, they found one male victim.
Police say the 22-year-old victim suffered a gunshot wound to his chest and was pronounced dead at the scene.
He was later identified as Chase Anderson.
Police say that a 32-year-old man was in the house at the time of the shooting.
His name is Adam Sullivan and he was arrested on suspicion of unrelated drug possession counts.
The Kansas Bureau of Investigation and the Hoisington Police Department are investigating this incident.
